How selling works
How to list an item, deal with offers and complete a sale.
1. List your item
Add at least two real photos of the item itself, an honest description including any flaws, the category, size and condition, and a price of at least 10 MAD. Save a draft and preview it before publishing.
Don’t put phone numbers, emails or links in your listing: buyers contact you through Atiq. Check the Prohibited items list first.
2. Answer messages and offers
Buyers can offer between 30% and 100% of your price. Accept, decline or counter. Accepting reserves the item for that buyer and closes the other offers.
3. Hand over the item
Agree a place, time and payment method with the buyer in the conversation. Meet somewhere busy and public. Atiq doesn’t ship items or collect payment for you.
4. Mark the sale completed
Once the buyer has the item, mark the sale completed. The listing shows as sold and you can review each other for 30 days. Only mark a sale completed if it really happened.
Managing your listings
From Your listings you can edit, reserve, mark available or sold, archive or delete items. You can’t delete an item that buyers have messaged you about; archive it instead.
If a listing is removed
Moderators remove listings that break the Community guidelines or the Prohibited items policy. You’ll see the reason under Your listings and can appeal from there.
