What personal data Lbazard collects, why, who can see it and your rights.
Version 2026-10-28 · Last updated 30 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
Lbazard is responsible for the personal data described here, under Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. Contact us about your data through the contact form with the topic “Privacy”.
2. What we collect
- Account: email address, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider), your 18+ confirmation and which version of these policies you accepted, and when.
- Profile: username, display name, city, and optionally a bio and a profile photo.
- Activity: listings and photos, saved items, follows, messages, offers, reservations and sales, reviews, notifications, reports and blocks.
- Location: only if you allow it on your device. Your browser shares it with the page only when a feature asks for it, and we don’t store it.
- Contact: messages you send through the contact form and the email address to reply to.
- Security: hashed (unreadable) forms of email addresses and IP addresses used for sign-in, sign-up, password-reset and contact-form attempts, kept for one day to stop abuse.
- Preferences: your language.
We don’t ask for your phone number, address, ID or bank details, and we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service you signed up for: your account, listings, messages, offers and reviews.
- To keep members safe: rate limits, reports, moderation and preventing banned members from returning.
- To reply to your messages and requests.
- To meet legal obligations.
4. What other members can see
Your username, display name, city, profile photo, listings, and the reviews you give and receive are public. Your bio is visible to signed-in members. Your email address is never shown. Messages, offers and sales are only visible to the two members involved.
5. Moderators
Moderators see reports and the reported content. They can read a conversation only when it, a message in it or the related sale has been reported, and each time they do so it is recorded.
6. Service providers
We use Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) and Vercel (website hosting) to run Lbazard. If you turn on push notifications, OneSignal delivers them and receives your device’s subscription and the text of each alert, which can include a member’s display name, a listing title and an offer amount, but never message text. They process data on our behalf and may store it outside Morocco. We don’t sell your data.
7. How long we keep it
- Account, profile and activity: until you delete your account.
- Security attempt records: one day.
- Answered contact-form messages: 12 months.
- Reports and moderation records: kept after the reported content is deleted, limited to a short copy of the reported text, so we can deal with repeated abuse.
8. Deleting your account
Settings → Delete account permanently removes your profile, listings and photos, saved items, follows, and the conversations, offers and sales you took part in (for the other member too). Reviews you wrote stay on the other member’s profile, shown as from a “former member” without your name. Deleting isn’t available while one of your sales is reserved.
9. Your rights
You can access, correct and delete your data, and object to its use for legitimate reasons. You can change most of it yourself in Settings. For anything else, use the contact form with the topic “Privacy”; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the CNDP (Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel).
10. Security
Access to data is restricted at the database level so members only see what they’re allowed to see. Photos are stored privately and shown through temporary links. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we’ll tell you.
11. Cookies
We only use the cookies and browser storage needed to run Lbazard. See the Cookie Policy.
12. Changes
If we make an important change, we’ll ask you to accept the new version. The version and date are at the top of this page.
